Le Rivage is a Planned Unit Development (PUD) in the Palm Beach County Agricultural Reserve. It is unique in that it is the only PUD in the Ag Reserve where development is only permitted in 20% of the land. The remaining 80% is a preservation area. The Le Rivage PUD has a total acreage of 40.7 acres and is approved for only 18 homes.

Hopewell Valley (Hopewell Township, Pennington Borough & Hopewell Borough) is working to become certified in the National Wildlife Federation Community Wildlife Habitat ™ Program. Certifying individual properties is a large component of the Community Wildlife Habitat program. All properties including homes, common areas, schools, and nature centers can be certified using the Certified Wildlife Habitat website. To become certified a property must fulfill the following five requirements: food, water, cover, places to raise young, and sustainable practices. Hopewell Valley Gardens for Wildlife serves as the local initiative supporting Hopewell Valley’s efforts to achieve certification through the National Wildlife Federation’s Community Wildlife Habitat™ Program. Greensboro Vermont is a rural town in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, with a year-round population of about 800 living across approximately 40 square miles. Alongside the year-round residents, there is also a community of ‘summer people’ from across the world who have seasonal camps on Caspian Lake. Greensboro is a key location for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife, due to our core habitat, such as on Barr Hill Nature Preserve, and because we are at the center of a crucial corridor across Northeast Vermont. Since March of 2024, Pollinator-Friendly Greensboro - with the help of the Greensboro Conservation Commission - has been working to educate people about creating habitats for pollinators and other wildlife, and encouraging certification of gardens with NWF. Our latest project is an ‘Example Pollinator Garden’ at the Greensboro Bend Rail Trail Parking, which will be planted starting spring 2025. We look forward to getting many more people involved in Certified Wildlife Habitat and becoming a Community Wildlife Habitat in the years ahead. Inspired by the work of Doug Tallamy's Homegrown National Park, the Valparaiso Native Plant Group is a newly emerging gathering of Valparaiso citizens seeking to spread the word about the benefits of planting native plants and controlling invasives. Located within Northwest Indiana, our region was the first ever multi-county Community Wildlife Habitat certified by NWF; now we are seeking that designation as our own city within that region.

Valencia Lakes, located in the heart of Naples Florida, is a gated community with over 450 single family homes located approximately 15 miles east of the Gulf of Mexico. We border Everglades National Park, a CREW Wildlife and Environmental Area, a CREW Bird Rookery and an Audubon Sanctuary. The residents of this community own three lakes that are part of the Western Everglades and its residents are dedicated to creating and sustaining a wildlife collective.
