Summary

Inspired by the work of Doug Tallamy's Homegrown National Park, the Valparaiso Native Plant Group is a newly emerging gathering of Valparaiso citizens seeking to spread the word about the benefits of planting native plants and controlling invasives. Located within Northwest Indiana, our region was the first ever multi-county Community Wildlife Habitat certified by NWF; now we are seeking that designation as our own city within that region.
