Summary

The Hideout is a gated Four Season Resort Community consisting of approximately 3,200 single family homes nestled in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. While The Hideout maintains many state of the art facilities, we also set aside nearly 250 acres of pristine woodlands for preservation in its natural state for all. This complete, four season, recreational community maintains over 40 miles of paved roads with a modern central sewer and water system. As part of the Wallenpaupack Watershed, the community has three main bodies of water commonly used for recreational purposes: Roamingwood Lake (198 acres): Deerfield Lake (22 acres); Brooks Lake (9.2 acres). Also located within the community are Windemere Pond (1acre); Hidden Pond (1 acre); and Big Spring Pond (3 acres). Guests are greeted by our entrance Pond (3.2 acres) and eventually makes its way down to Lake Wallenpaupack via Ariel Creek. The community offers 24hr Public Safety, Public Utilities, Clubhouse, Main Lodge, Campgrounds, Dog Park, Indoor/Outdoor Recreational Sport Complexes, Golf, Two Heated Pools, Two Sand Beaches, Fitness Center, Art Center, Woodworker Building, Skiing, Snow Tubing, Tennis/Pickleball Courts, Basketball Courts and so much more!
