The Arbors is a residential development with a total of 360 homes located in unincorporated Cherokee County, GA. There is one fairly large common area consisting of a pool, tennis courts, clubhouse, and playground with a wooded area. There are also two small common areas at each entrance to the neighborhood. In addition, there is a walking path from the smaller part of the development (Little Arbors) to the large common area located in the Big Arbors. This walking path is in a wooded common area with some wetlands and a small unnamed tributary to Rose Creek.

We are a 55+ community of about 1500 homes situated within protected forests and wetlands. We care for the surrounding natural areas by monitoring the health of our forests and wetlands, removing invasive species, supporting the health and diversity of the natural wildlife, offering protective measures against wildfires, and educating the community in these endeavors. Description
Centrally located park near Lindens downtown/mainstreet district. We have been working on bringing more wildlife into the park as well as planting new trees and removal of invasive speices. We are currently in the process of planting native plants around a new pond and installing blue bird boxes, wood duck boxes, bat boxes and as well as owl boxes. we have a small butterfly garden at the moment and working on adding to it and adding more in the park. Applying for a grant through the NRCS to help with seeding for native grasses and flowers.

There's a park around the corner from my house and I want to plant cypress trees beside the creek and fruit trees through the park to provif a free healthy food source for the neighborhood.

We are Wild Eden Food Forest and we install food forests for no charge. We assist economically challenged communities that experience hunger on a routine basis. Our communities are mostly Hispanic and Native American. Our goal is to teach communities how to have food security not just for today and for decades to come. We are 100% self funded and donations.
