Wildlife Friendly Plants for Stonehaven

A Stonehaven Wildlife Habitat team member put this preferred plant list together. We encourage homeowners to add native wildlife friendly plants to their landscapes to provide food, cover, and nesting sites. Native plants and local wildlife have been linked together for thousands of years. We should understand that if we add non natives in our landscapes, the wildlife are not familiar with them and may choose another landscape to raise their family. Native plants also need less water and maintenance than non natives.
