One of the goals that the Yellow Springs Environmental Commission proposed for 2020 is to launch a Village-wide Wildlife Habitat Certification through the National Wildlife Federation. The official launch has been delayed due to the corona virus but individuals and families who are interested in staying safe, getting outside and working to welcome birds, bees and butterflies into their yards can get started right now! This FB site has been created to support that effort and provide information on certification, native plants, pesticide free practices, links to wildlife garden resources and we invite everyone to share their wildlife garden projects. We are just getting started so check back in with your thoughts and efforts as we embark on the Village Wildlife Habitat certification!
