Summary

Region 7 includes: Bartholomew, Clark, Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Hancock, Jefferson, Jennings, Johnson, Ohio, Ripley, Rush, Scott, Shelby, Switzerland, Union, and Wayne Counties. This is part of Indiana's statewide Hoosier Habitat Challenge launched March 2026 to become the first ever Certified Community Wildlife Habitat™ led by Earth Charter Indiana in cooperation with the Indiana Wildlife Federation and other partners. * When a community team registers, if it inherits tons of existing habitat points, it needs to reach 10% new habitats while as a team. So the Certification Habitat Points Goal is 825 (not 750).
