Summary

Root Nashville is a grassroots, community-led habitat restoration program operating across multiple neighborhoods, schools, churches, and waterways in and around Nashville, Tennessee. Our initiatives include native tree plantings, volunteer-driven cleanups, and creation of wildlife-friendly spaces on residential, institutional, and public properties. Active sites include Bluefields neighborhood, Hermitage Golf Course, Aldersgate Church, and Akiva Jewish School. The program engages residents, students, and volunteers of all ages to promote biodiversity, environmental justice, and sustainable community stewardship.
