Summary

Sellersburg, IN is a charming small town nestled among stunning natural landscapes and scenic parks like Clark State Forest, Charlestown State Park, and the Falls of the Ohio. Inspired by Doug Tallamy’s Homegrown National Park initiative, our volunteer group, Nature's Neighbors, is proud to assist Sellersburg in becoming the first NWF Wildlife Community Habitat in the Louisville/Kentuckiana region. Our mission is to reconnect people with nature by encouraging residents to transform parts of their own yards and community spaces into thriving wildlife habitats. Together, we aim to "bring nature home" and create a more sustainable, biodiverse future right here in our own backyard.
