Birder's Paradise

City of Dublin staff took a hike in Kiwanis Park, a destination location for spring birders hoping to spot migratory birds. The City recently removed much of the invasive honeysuckle, giving hikers a better view of native plants like skunk cabbage!

Water Awareness Volunteers

We are passionate about healthy waterways. From the annual Mike Utt Scioto River Cleanup to water quality testing in streams to native plantings and invasive removals along creekbeds, volunteers take an active role in protecting our water!

Tree Huggers at the Dublin Cemetery

Supporting the City of Dublin's Forestry team, volunteers measured and recorded the diameter of around 300 trees. This data will help certify the Dublin Cemetery as a level one arboretum. Celebrations are being planned for Arbor Day 2025!

Stream Success

Nature Ambassadors led water quality and macroinvertebrate surveys at Billingsley Creek in Ferris-Wright Park. The creek earned an 81.5 cQHEI score—nearly “Excellent.” The program helps the community engage with and protect local aquatic habitats.

Rock Solid Restoration

A new crevice garden at Donegal Cliffs Park is helping restore a once-barren, eroded area. The rocky landscape re-establishes sensitive native plant species that thrive among stone and contributes to Dublin’s native habitat restoration goals.
