Summary

Hopewell Valley (Hopewell Township, Pennington Borough & Hopewell Borough) is working to become certified in the National Wildlife Federation Community Wildlife Habitat ™ Program. Certifying individual properties is a large component of the Community Wildlife Habitat program. All properties including homes, common areas, schools, and nature centers can be certified using the Certified Wildlife Habitat website. To become certified a property must fulfill the following five requirements: food, water, cover, places to raise young, and sustainable practices. Hopewell Valley Gardens for Wildlife serves as the local initiative supporting Hopewell Valley’s efforts to achieve certification through the National Wildlife Federation’s Community Wildlife Habitat™ Program.
