Swede Run Fields Native Pollinator Garden
Save the Environment of Moorestown (STEM) installed this garden after being awarded a grant of plants by the Xerces Society. This garden was installed in 2021 and is maintained by STEM and its volunteers.
Native pollinators blooming at Swede Run Fields
STEM worked with the Township of Moorestown and the US Fish and Wildlife Service to convert a 75 acre field from a fallow farm field to a field of native pollinators and grasses. The field was planted in the fall of 2021.
Golden Rod in bloom at Swede Run
In the late summer through fall Golden Rod provides a food service for local bee populations.
