Community Spotlight
Community Wildlife Habitat Sign
Atlantic Highlands is proud to display our COMMUNITY WILDLIFE HABITAT sign. The town and its residents has repeatedly shown its commitment to creating a welcoming environment to wildlife.
A Table at A Film Festival
The outdoor FilmOneFest offers filmmakers the opportunity to their works judged and screened in front of a live audience. Prior to the event, vendors and civic groups are offered space for outreach. WAAH was there with handouts and an email signup.
Garden Habitat Walk Inspires
Fourteen community sites at homes, businesses, a church, a school, a museum, and a public park demonstrated to 100 visitors how beautiful wildlife habitats could be created to increase biodiversity and sustain the environment.
Collaboration in the Community
The Earth Month collaboration with the Atlantic Highlands Arts Council highlights the overlap of art and nature. Above, the opening reception of 'Earth, Sea & Sky' brings an awareness to all parts of our environment.
Earth Month Seed Swap and Plant Exchange
A seed swap and plant exchange was held at our Arts Council Gallery. It is a great way of sharing information and native plant 'starter kits.' It's also a great way to interact with other enthusiastic, environmentally-minded gardeners!
Revisiting the Gardens
A Slide Presentation and Panel Discussion with 7 creators of habitat gardens from our 'Fall into Natives 2025: Garden Habitat Walk' was an Earth Month event.
