Summary

The Town of Fountain Hills is located on the northeastern edge of the “Valley of the Sun” in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area. At the heart of the town is the iconic fountain, which reaches a vertical height of over 300 feet, and over 550 feet on special occasions. Fountain Hills is home to several large festivals including the Great Fair, Fountain Hills Music Festival, Concours in the Hills, Fourth of July Celebration, Oktoberfest, Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the Fountain Festival of Arts of Crafts. Fountain Hills was recently awarded the rare distinction of being designated an International Dark Sky Community by the International Dark Sky Association.
