Bats in the Park Workshop
Forest Heights Neighborhood joined with Zoo Knoxville to host a Bats in the Park Workshop to educate the community about how bats are beneficial to wildlife and then installed a bat house in the Pocket Park.
Neighborhood Cleanup
Forest Heights neighbors join together for a clean up on the Bearden Village Greenway and in the neighborhood.

Permanent Display Created in Pocket Park
Forest Heights neighbors worked together to install an education kiosk in the Pocket Park where community members can learn about the NWF certification project. It also highlights plants that encourage biodiversity as well as nuisance plants.
Build-a-Birdhouse Workshop
Community volunteers led a Build-a-Birdhouse Workshop. Participants each received a birdhouse kit with assembly instructions and information sheets on the types of birds that prefer that birdhouse design and how to install their birdhouse at home.
