City & High School Wildlife Conservation Club Joi

Weston's Director of Landscaping Thad Bielecki, worked with students from Cypress Bay High School's Wildlife Conservation Club that assisted in planting trees along the City right-of-way. Crews taught them about proper depth & width for planting.

Endangered Orchids Now Gracing Weston Trees

Weston joined the "Million Orchid Project" initiated by Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden to help restore endangered native orchids in Broward County. Starting with Peace Mound Park, crews learned to install plantings in Weston's vast tree canopy.
