Summary

Tukwila was the first community Certified in Washington State in 2002!!! Tukwila is found at the crossroads of two major interstate freeways. This convenient location has led to its being a center of commerce and industry. It is a highly diverse cultural and ethnic community. The Community Wildlife Habitat project was sponsored by Tukwila Parks and Recreation. One hundred percent of Tukwila's schools were certified as well as numerous businesses.
