Summary

The city of Bloomington lies in Monroe County, home to the Hoosier National Forest and the Morgan-Monroe State Forest. The forests are comprised of Mesic hardwoods and all of the lakes are man-made. Bloomington's project is being led by the Center for Sustainable Living, a non-profit group that is concerned with the human ecological footprint.
